CB Recovery Group, Inc. (“CBRG”) was incorporated on January 2nd, 2014 in Illinois. CBRG is a general contractor specializing in commercial renovation and restoration services, with emphasized focus in the hospitality industry.


Although the company is young, the management team has extensive construction experience. With hard work and dedication, CBRG has established itself in the broad national construction market. After the first year where many companies fail, CBRG has had a lot of success. With a client-first focus, an exciting future lies ahead.

Jerzy Czupryna

Since 1996, Jerzy was the co-owner of ABAT Builders, Inc., focusing on renovations in the Hospitality industry. His integral role within the company included project estimation, management and successful completion of numerous projects for major clients such as Motel 6, Red Roof Inn, Hyatt Place, La Quinta, Bluegreen, and Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Jerzy brings with him over 18 years of commercial and hospitality construction experience. In 2013, Jerzy met Scott Bays, and together, they formed CBRG.


Scott Bays

Scott started as a claim specialist for Farmers Insurance in 1999 working his way up to a General Adjuster for Commercial and Residential properties in just under 3 years. In 2006 The Hartford approached him with an opportunity, and by 2008 he became a General Adjuster with Hartford handling commercial losses in excess of $100,000 to $5,000,000. From 2010-2013, Scott was running the Chicago-based office of a $12 million dollar restoration company.
